When you ride with low pressure over curbs, the tube gets pinched between the rim and the obstacle. We call it a 'snakebite' – and suddenly, you're walking. It's so easy to avoid! Checking once a week saves you a lot of money and frustration.
The Magic Number: How many bar do you need?
It's usually written on the tire sidewall, but as a rule of thumb: for typical 8.5 to 10-inch tires, you should aim for **3.5 to 4.5 bar** (depending on weight). If you're on the heavier side, go for the upper limit. Too much pressure feels bumpy, but too little kills the tire.

Many customers ask about tuning options for more range. Often, the solution is right under their feet! A soft tire eats energy like crazy. In our experience, the difference between 'barely inflated' and 'perfect pressure' is easily 3 to 5 kilometers of range.
