The Absolute Dealbreaker
Never buy a scooter without the official data confirmation (ABE)! Without this document, you won't get an insurance sticker in Germany. 'I lost it' is often a sign of stolen goods or illegal imports. The Pro Checklist for Inspection
Battery Check: Ask about charging cycles. If the scooter is 2 years old with only 50km, it might have been sitting deep-discharged in a cellar – that's poison for the cells.
